This guide details how to manage the lifecycle of your stored Truth Packets, understand your forensic storage tiers, navigate your billing and Pro subscription benefits, and, once the Exchange is live, offer eligible assets for non-exclusive licensing. Forensic Trust and Ledger Anchors

When you secure a Truth Packet, the platform can optionally use decentralized ledger technology to create a tamper-evident proof-of-existence record. In your portal, you will see specific badges indicating how your data is anchored:

P (Permanent Ledger): This badge indicates that a full, encrypted archive of your Truth Packet is anchored permanently to the decentralized blockchain network.
R (Representative Ledger): This badge indicates that a representative proof bundle or a sampled cryptographic anchor has been successfully recorded on-chain, proving the asset's existence and integrity without hosting the full heavy media file on the public ledger.

The Forensic Key For high-stakes legal or compliance environments, you may need to independently verify the encrypted data stored on the permanent ledger. Your dossier provides a dedicated "Forensic Key." This AES decryption key is distinct from your standard ZIP download button; it is used exclusively for the legal and forensic decryption of the ciphertext securely anchored to the blockchain.

Storage Lifecycles and The Secure Vault

The Verified Reality platform utilizes a tiered storage architecture to balance high-speed, immediate access with long-term forensic preservation.

Hot / Ephemeral Storage: This tier holds your most recent captures. The data is readily available for immediate, high-speed browser viewing and download.
Glacier / Deep Archive: To maintain system efficiency, older packets may be moved to cold storage. Thawing or restoring these files for active download may require a checkout process.
Forever / Arweave: This is the ultimate long-term custody tier, where your verified packets are stored permanently on the decentralized ledger.
Purged: Indicates that the cloud-hosted media copy has been released or destroyed, though the mathematical cryptographic ledger record proving the asset's historical existence remains permanently intact.

Download Windows: For users on standard (non-Pro) accounts, the platform provides a time-limited download window following a successful mission. You must download your Truth Packets to your local hardware before this window expires and the files are moved to cold archive.

Pro Subscriptions and Billing

For organizations requiring persistent access to high-volume evidence, the Pro Subscription unlocks the full power of the Secure Vault.

Pro Benefits: Upgrading to Pro provides extended hot storage retention, bypassing the standard deep-archive windows. It also unlocks routing to the Forever Vault for permanent cloud custody.
Storage Allowances: Pro accounts include dedicated storage capacities. If your evidence volume scales beyond your included allowance, the system seamlessly transitions to a transparent, metered Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) rate, ensuring your data is never bottlenecked.
Purchase Ledger: All of your financial transactions are centralized in the portal's Receipts tab. This global ledger organizes your mission payments, desktop audit credit purchases, and subscription renewals into clear, collapsible rows complete with detailed line items.

The Verified Reality Exchange (Licensing)

The Exchange is coming soon. Once live, it is intended as a public marketplace where eligible verified capture files can be offered for non-exclusive licensing to broadcasters, news desks, and research institutions. Demand, sale frequency, and earnings are not guaranteed.

The Sell Side (Monetizing Your Assets) If you choose to opt eligible assets into commercial licensing once the Exchange is live, the portal provides a unified dashboard to track licensing activity. Earnings are not guaranteed.

You will first complete a secure onboarding process to link your bank account for direct payouts.
Your dashboard displays your lifetime gross earnings, paid royalties, and pending funds.
Every asset features a dedicated per-packet ledger, showing exact revenue splits and payout statuses, linking directly back to the original mission dossier.

The Buy Side (Your Purchased Licenses) Once the Exchange is live, if your organization purchases licenses for verified assets from other creators, those assets will appear in your portal. You can securely download these files based on the specific broadcast or data-usage tiers you acquired.
