How Verified Reality proves a file is real

Audience: clients, independent contractors, journalists, and anyone asked to trust a file.

Verified Reality does not “detect fakes” after the fact. It creates a tamper-evident, cryptographically sealed, independently verifiable record at the moment of physical capture — before the media touches the cloud.

This is a public primer. Sensor pipelines, storage routing, and desktop architecture stay in the staff wiki.

Capture → Seal → Verify

  1. Capture. Film on an everyday phone. Time, device, and location signals are recorded with the media when the shutter fires.
  2. Seal. That capture is bound into a Truth Packet. If someone alters the media later, the seal no longer matches.
  3. Verify. Anyone with the packet can re-check the math in the free Desktop Auditor on their own machine.

We provide mathematical proof of provenance. The judge, adjuster, or editor decides the context. This is not insurance, legal advice, or a finding of admissibility.
