A tip is not a commission. Radar windows and bounty economics are operational details. They do not guarantee a story will be assigned, funded, or licensed.

What this is not

  • Not a promise that a newsroom will be first, or that a tip will be commissioned.
  • Not a finding of admissibility. The file can be independently re-verified; a court decides weight.
  • Not employment. Field operators who capture for the network are independent contractors under the Verifier ICA.
